DRIFT WEST OPENS IN MCCALL IDAHO

Drift West — the coolest gear showroom, fly shop and adventure booking agency— opened its doors in McCall, Idaho in May. You can see their top picks in the outdoor sector, gear yourself up to sling some bugs at trout, and snag a great gift while booking your next epic hunting trip.

Our creative director and favorite artist Ed Anderson squeezed in some studio time to paint this year, working on projects with Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, All Hands Cocktails, and Duck Camp just to name a few. Check out his new website, with a bunch of new prints for sale and links to videos and podcasts.

Veteran and all-around great human Bryan Neal worked with us to create the ultimate hunting machine—the ElkCamino. Her maiden voyage was in the Idaho Mountains during a hunt with Drift West. We filmed a mini-documentary about Bryan in the process – be sure to check it out, and watch out for more ElkCamino hijinks to come.

Our friend Jeff Crosby has been on tour across the country, and we rode shotgun developing tour posters, merchandise, video and photo content, and just put the finishing touches on his new website. Drift West booked a lot of exciting hunting and fly fishing trips this year, with partners from McCall Angler, Spoke Hollow Outfitters, Redoubt Mountain Lodge, Hammer Down Excursions and more. 

Memories were made stalking elk on mountain slopes bathed in autumn sunlight, and hunkering down in the bird blind on freezing winter mornings.

Lost Grove Brewing and Ed Anderson partnered with us to create the “Bull Trout Princess German Style Kolsch”. You can get BTP apparel and of course a frosty brew on our web shop, and at Drift West and Lost Grove locations.
